Libbie Randall, junior communication studies student, was chosen to receive the Steve and Joyce Bell Excellence in Journalism Award. This award is given to a Central College student who demonstrates excellence in journalism work on campus.

Morgan Oster, junior communication studies and exercise science student, was chosen to receive the C.A. and Francis L. DeBruin award. This award is given to a junior or senior in communication studies who shows academic achievement, high moral character and strong contributions to the college.
