Four Central College students will present their final art projects during the Senior Thesis Exhibit beginning Wednesday, April 24, at the Mills Gallery in the Lubbers Center for Visual Arts. The senior exhibit runs through Friday, May 10, and features works by Danielle Eisentrager, Katelyn Gorrell, Catalina Valdez and Hannah Van Weelden.

Five Central College students made presentations April 13 at the Iowa Human Rights Research Conference at the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa.

62 Central College students in the A Cappella Choir will take part in its Pre-Tour Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 12, in Douwstra Auditorium. The choir will perform to launch its Midwest Tour that will make six stops from May 20-26 in the Kansas City area. The event is free and open to the public.

Six Central College students will perform in the Flute Ensemble Recital at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the Chapel on Central's campus.

35 Central College students will perform in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in Douwstra Auditorium.

More than 360 students earned a spot on the fall 2018 dean's list for Central College. The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

Kelly Cavner '19 entered her senior year at Central College with a corporate software engineer job waiting for her after graduation.

15 Central College students took part in a Ski Club trip in December to Aspen, Colorado. Led by club advisor Sara Shuger Fox, the trip highlighted sustainability education.
