Central College's Theatre Department was honored earlier this year with 10 awards at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 5 event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Three current students took home awards for their work on "Blithe Spirit."

Central Seniors to Showcase Art Projects
Four Central College students will present their final art projects during the Senior Thesis Exhibit beginning Wednesday, April 24, at the Mills Gallery in the Lubbers Center for Visual Arts. The senior exhibit runs through Friday, May 10, and features works by Danielle Eisentrager, Katelyn Gorrell, Catalina Valdez and Hannah Van Weelden.

62 Central College students in the A Cappella Choir will take part in its Pre-Tour Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 12, in Douwstra Auditorium. The choir will perform to launch its Midwest Tour that will make six stops from May 20-26 in the Kansas City area. The event is free and open to the public.
