12 Central College students will perform in the Flying Pans Steel Band concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Pella Opera House during Pella's 86th annual Tulip Time festival.

18 Central College students performed in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble concert Sunday, May 2, in Douwstra Auditorium on Hoekstra Family stage.

62 Central College students will perform in the A Cappella Choir concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 2, in Douwstra Auditorium on Hoekstra Family stage.

Four Central College students will have their art featured in the Senior Art Exhibit April 21 to May 7 in Mills Gallery in the Lubbers Center for the Visual Arts.

22 Central College students had their work published in the college's annual Writing Anthology, a collection of exceptional student work from across the liberal arts curriculum. 11 students on the men's rugby team at Central College will compete with the highest level of competition in the 2021 Collegiate Rugby Championship tournament May 29-31.

Central's annual Scholarship Celebration was scheduled for Thursday, April 22, but was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event gives student scholarship recipients the opportunity to personally thank and share dinner with donors who help make their Central education possible. More than 800 students would have been recognized this year in P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.

Cameron Coles, a member of the Class of 2022 at Central College, has been named a 2021 Goldwater Scholar in a prestigious national competition that recognizes undergraduates for outstanding achievements in the fields of mathematics, science and engineering.

Emma Lowden will participate in the competitive Surgery Undergraduate Research Experience in the Department of Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Summer 2021.
