Central students elect their representatives for 2025-26 Senate.

Each semester, Central College recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement by naming them to the Dean's List. This distinction is reserved for those who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 graded credit hours.The students exemplify academic excellence and a strong commitment to their education. We congratulate them on this well-deserved accomplishment.

The Summer Undergraduate Research program gives Central College students the opportunity to conduct research with a faculty mentor. Central welcomed 24 students for summer undergraduate research projects on campus.

Central College students were recognized during the annual Scholarship Dinner for scholarships earned and applied to the 2024-25 academic year.

Central College Student Development office announced the 2025 student leadership award recipients. Each year, Student Development seeks nominations campus-wide to recognize the contributions, achievements and efforts of Central students, student groups and club advisors. This year, the office received over 50 nominations! A panel representing Academic Affairs and Student Development reviewed the nominations and selected the following award recipients for 2025. Congratulations to all the nominees and the 2025 award recipients.

A pillar of a Central College education is community service and civic engagement. In Spring 2025, 44 Central students are participating in a service-learning opportunity to build civic engagement.

Central College recognized 249 graduates during Commencement 2025 on May 10, in Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium on Central's campus.

Central College's Visual and Performing Arts Department will perform "Bonnie and Clyde" at 7 p.m. April 9-12. The musical, based on the Tony-nominated production with music from the legendary Frank Wildhorn, features thrilling adventure and a non-traditional score combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music.

Central College welcomed more than 200 students from across the nation to compete for scholarships during the spring Scholar Days in January and February.

Congratulations to the more than 390 students named to the Central College dean's list for Spring 2024. The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.500 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

Central College students in the environmental and sustainability program attended the annual Iowa County Conservation Convention, accompanied by Anya Butt, professor of biology.

EAM Club members traveled to Chicago to explore a potential career in a major metropolitan area and network with Central College alumni there.
