Five men and five women were recently nominated for the Central College homecoming court. These Central seniors will participate in a coronation on Oct. 3, where the homecoming king and queen will be announced.

The team competed Feb. 16-17 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, finishing with a record of 6-2 and defeating Grinnell College, the University of Iowa and Northwestern University (Ill.) The Central College Mock Trial Team, which hosted an invitational event on campus Feb. 2-3, finished undefeated and won the tournament over second place Drake University and third place Loras College. The following local students are members.

The Central College mock trial team competed at the Drake Bulldog Invitational on Oct. 26. The following students helped the team to a third place finish in a field of nineteen teams with a 6-2 record. They defeated teams from Iowa State, Washburn (Kan.) and Drake Universities.
