Strong showing for Steffen, Parrott at Distance Carnival

Steffen second-best 5K in Division III so far this season

St. Louis, MO. (03/31/2025) — SAINT LOUIS, MO. - In their first outdoor meet of the season, Central College women's distance track and field runners Peyton Steffen (junior, Marion) and Addison Parrott (senior, Danville) had strong showings at the Washington University Distance Carnival Thursday night.

In a field of 245 total runners, Steffen placed 11th in the women's 5,000-meter run in a time of 16 minutes, 53.39 seconds. Parrott was 40th in 17:29.60.

Steffen has the second fastest time this season in Division III and Parrott is currently No. 15

The duo will next run at the Wartburg Outdoor Select next Saturday in Waverly.
