Central to Host College Fair for Students and Parents

Pella, IA (09/11/2018) — Area high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about their college options at a special college fair at Central College in Pella, Iowa, in October.

Central is partnering with the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling to host the event from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse on the Central campus.

Representatives from more than 70 colleges, universities and military branches will be in attendance. The program's purpose is to give high school students and their parents an opportunity to discuss admission requirements, housing, financial aid, scholarships, internships and specific majors.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. All area high school students and their parents are welcome to attend. For more information about the event, call Chevy Freiburger, director of admission at Central, at 641-628-7616.
