Central RED offers noncredit educational opportunities to enrich the intellectual, cultural, social and spiritual lives of its members.
Members pay $20 annually to join Central RED, which offers five to eight courses, workshops and/or events each semester. Some are free, while others have an associated fee. You must be a member to attend. However, no affiliation with Central College is required to join Central RED.
"I encourage people to come out and learn what Central RED can offer," says Mary Benedict, assistant director of alumni relations and Central RED coordinator. "RED is short for 'Ready to Engage and Discover,' and that is truly what this group is all about. Programs allow members to share their knowledge, talents and experiences."
