Central RED Society Presents "Moving at the Speed of Change" with Sinikka Waugh

by Central College

Pella, IA (10/22/2018) — Central College's Central RED Society will present "Moving at the Speed of Change" with Sinikka Waugh at noon, Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Dave and Ardie Sutphen Common Room of Graham Annex on the Central College campus. Admission is $10 and includes lunch.

"It has been said that change has never come at us this fast, and it will never be this slow again," says Waugh, a 1996 Central graduate.

She will take participants on a journey through some of the most common responses to change to explore how they can help themselves and those around them through moments of transition. Life changes, career changes, changes to day-to-day tools and activities and even seasonal changes all offer a path. Understanding that path is key to moving at the speed of change.

Participants must be a member of the Central RED ("Ready to Engage and Discover") Society to attend. A Central RED membership costs $25 per year. To become a member, contact Mary Benedict, assistant director of alumni relations, at benedictm@central.edu or 641-628-7641. No affiliation with Central is required to join-the society is open to all.

Waugh has a bachelor's degree from Central and a master's degree from the University of Iowa. She is a certified project manager, business analyst, facilitator and coach who helps teams find innovative ways to solve problems and get things done.
