Central College Welcomes New Director of Student Involvement
Pella, IA (10/01/2018) — Central College welcomes Sean Wiseman as the college's new director of student involvement. He began his new position on August 12.
Wiseman will collaborate with other campus entities to create and support a strong co-curricular student experience focused on the engagement and success of all students. He will also build campus spirit through educational and social programs focused on a sense of belonging, well-being, career readiness, global citizenship, sustainability and life-long learning.
Wiseman most recently worked as director of student engagement at Arizona State University-West. Prior to that, he was coordinator of senior engagement and academic success at Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business. Wiseman also has experience in student services and residential life. He holds a Bachelor of Science in education with an emphasis in social studies from Northland College and a Master of Education in curriculum development and instruction from Arizona State University.

He is an enthusiastic and student-focused professional who will immediately impact Central's campus life experience for students," says Carol Williamson, Central's vice president for enrollment and student development.
