Central College Hosts Summer Visit Days

Pella, IA (05/16/2019) — Central College will host a number of summer visit days for prospective students on its campus in Pella, Iowa. The summer visit days will be held in June, July and August to ensure anyone interested will be able to attend.

The scheduled visit days are:

  • Be More Than A Spectator Day: Saturday, June 15
  • STEM Exploration: Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28
  • Discover Central Visit Days: Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19
  • Discover Central Visit Days: Wednesday, Aug. 7 to Friday, Aug. 9

Be More Than a Spectator Day is Central's athletics visit day, while the STEM Exploration event, sponsored by Alliant Energy, is intended for those interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Discover Central Days allow the chance to see everything Central has to offer. Prospective students will engage in discussion with Central students and faculty about areas of interest and scholarship opportunities. A campus tour will consist of viewing academic buildings, residence halls and includes lunch at Central Market.
