Central College A Cappella Choir Tours Central Iowa

Pella, IA (11/07/2019) — Central College's A Cappella Choir will visit Central Iowa with four stops over three days from Nov. 8-10 on its Central Iowa tour. Several performances are free and open to the public.

Central's A Cappella Choir is a 60-voice auditioned collegiate ensemble that performs regularly in Iowa during the academic year and around the country. Past performance venues have included The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City and the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The choir tours internationally every four years with a recent tour in Vienna, Austria, including a performance at St. Stephan's Cathedral in 2017.

This year's Central Iowa schedule is:

Friday, Nov. 8

  • 1 p.m. at Belmond-Klemme High School, 411 110th Ave. NE, Belmond, Iowa
  • 7 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1105 Grand Ave., West Des Moines, Iowa

Saturday, Nov. 9

  • 4 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Cathedral, 607 High St., Des Moines, Iowa

Sunday, Nov. 10

  • 10 a.m. at Cathedral Church of St. Paul (Episcopal), 815 High St., Des Moines, Iowa
