'Steel Graffiti' Set for Three Days in November at Central College

Pella, IA (10/17/2019) — Central College's Flying Pans Steel Band will present "Steel Graffiti" over three days to kick off an array of music performances in November.

"Steel Graffiti" will run from Nov. 1-3 on the Hoekstra Family Stage in Douwstra Auditorium. It begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. The performance will feature a Caribbean-rock production, with lights, video, special effects and energetic music. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 senior citizens and free with a Central ID.

The second ALMA Concert of the fall is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Recital Hall of Cox-Snow Music Center. Cost is $5 or free with a Central ID.

A Jazz Band Concert will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Cox-Snow, while the College Community Orchestra Concert is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. Both events are free and open to the public.
