Nick Lutsch named a Central College SOS leader

2013 Jun 4

Nick Lutsch, a native of South Elgin, has been chosen as a Central College SOS orientation leader for the 2013-14 school year. Lutsch is a junior at Central in Pella, Iowa.

SOS members are Central's orientation leaders. Central SOS leaders are student ambassadors for the college, aiding incoming students and their family's transition into the Central community. They provide insight into academic and campus life, expose new students to Central traditions and share the ethos of the college.

SOS leaders are selected through an interview process where they partake in individual and group assessments where they are critiqued on their verbal communication, attention to detail, innovation, solution orientation and teamwork.
