The Central team finished with a record of 6-2, defeating Grinnell College, the University of Iowa and Northwestern University (Ill.) This is the second year the team has qualified for the tournament.

Miller will compete March 15-17 at Washington University in St. Louis. The top six teams will advance to the National Championships in Washington, D.C., in April.
