Chris Lensing Presents at Heartland Global Health Consortium

On Wednesday, Oct. 12, Chris Lensing, a senior biology and Spanish major from Spencer, Iowa, along with 12 other students from Central College in Pella, Iowa, presented at the Heartland Global Health Consortium, "The Challenges of Global Aging," held at Des Moines University. Lensing presented a poster entitled "The Financial and Psychological Challenges Facing an Aging US Population" with Reid Imerman.

The consortium was held to teach participants about the challenges of global aging, to identify action steps to address the issue and to question how society can assist in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the elderly. Students and faculty from eight Iowa colleges attended this year's consortium.
