Chase Kooyman takes part in Scholarship Celebration Days

Central College senior Chase Kooyman presented during Undergraduate Scholarship Celebration Days, held Dec. 5 and 12 at the college. The event provided more than 75 students with the opportunity to showcase their research and projects in a variety of disciplines.

Kooyman participated in presentations titled "Progress towards the synthesis of C4 symmetric oxacalixarenes" and "Coffee, Caffeine, and Related Compounds in Correlation with Reduced Cancer Risk in Several Cancer Types." Kooyman, of Pella, is majoring in biochemistry and biology.
